The American actress made her debut in Holiday in the Sun, a Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen film, and has since become a household name. Known for her standout roles in Jennifer’s Body and the Transformers franchise, Fox has cemented herself as one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Although widely recognized, many fans were surprised to learn about Fox’s openness regarding her sexuality, a topic she has addressed candidly. Following her announcement, social media erupted with messages of support and admiration.
One fan wrote, “We won! I never knew!” while another shared, “She made me feel comfortable in my own identity.” A third commented, “What! I’ve had a crush on her since Jennifer’s Body! I’m so happy for her.” Another added, “She made me realize I was queer.”
Fox, who was previously married to Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green for nearly a decade, shares three sons with her former husband. More recently, she had a high-profile relationship with rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
The couple, known for their passionate yet tumultuous dynamic, announced they were expecting their first child together after Fox had previously spoken openly about experiencing a miscarriage. In a heartfelt post, the This Is 40 star wrote, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back.”
However, just weeks after the pregnancy announcement, reports surfaced about the pair’s split. According to TMZ, the relationship ended after Fox allegedly discovered “upsetting material” on MGK’s phone during a Thanksgiving trip to Vail, Colorado. A source told the Daily Mail, “This time, it feels final.”
Advocating for Identity and Expression
Beyond her personal relationships, Fox has been celebrated as an “ultimate LGBTQ+ ally parent.” The New Girl actress openly supports her children’s self-expression, including her eldest son’s interest in wearing dresses.
In an interview with Glamour UK, Fox revealed, “Noah started wearing dresses at two, so I bought books addressing these topics and the full spectrum of identity.” She added, “Some were written by transgender children, while others were about expressing yourself through clothing, without it necessarily being tied to sexuality.”
Fox’s openness about her own sexuality spans decades. In a 2009 interview with Esquire, she stated, “I believe people are born bisexual and make subconscious choices influenced by societal pressures. I’ve never doubted my own identity.”
Since then, she has remained a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, celebrating her queerness and encouraging others to embrace their true selves.
