Fox News’ Todd Piro shared a heartwarming photo of his newborn daughter as he and his wife celebrated the arrival of their second baby girl.

Piro made his return to Fox & Friends First on Wednesday, where he briefly spoke about his daughter’s birth. His co-host, Carley Shimkus, welcomed him back with a lighthearted exchange.

«I’m back,» Piro announced at the start of the show.
«You are back,» Shimkus responded playfully. «Anything happen while you were away? Maybe something special—like the arrival of a beautiful baby? It’s great to have you back.»

Piro, embracing fatherhood for the second time, joked, “The second one. When you start playing man-to-man defense, it becomes a whole new game.”
The morning show anchor also shared a touching photo of his newborn daughter during Thursday’s broadcast.
On June 19, Piro took to Instagram to post a heartfelt moment captured just after his daughter’s birth, calling it the “best Father’s Day ever.”
«Best #FathersDay ever. Welcome to the team, Alexis!» he wrote in the caption.
Piro is married to Amanda Raus, a weekend anchor for ABC affiliate WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut.
He joined Fox News in June 2017 after years as an anchor at NBC Connecticut. Currently, he co-hosts Fox & Friends First, which airs weekdays from 4 to 6 a.m. Following the departure of Fox & Friends co-host Rob Schmitt to Newsmax in August 2020, Piro took over as the lead anchor for the news segment.
