Overcome with emotion, 51-year-old Keith Urban stepped onto the stage Tuesday night, tears in his eyes, as he accepted the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award. In the audience, his wife, Nicole Kidman, was visibly moved, sharing in the heartfelt moment.
Nicole Kidman couldn’t be prouder!
Less than an hour after her husband’s big win at the CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday night, the 51-year-old actress took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone.

“What an unforgettable night! We were completely stunned. Congratulations, my love. #CMAAwards 🎉💕” she wrote alongside a boomerang video, playfully covering her face with the award card before revealing Urban’s name inside.
“Thank you so much,” Urban said during his acceptance speech. “Baby girl, I love you beyond words. I’m absolutely blown away.”
He then gave a heartfelt mention to their daughters, Faith, 7, and Sunday, 10, lovingly calling them “Munchkin.” “Thank you for always supporting me and standing by me in everything I do,” he continued. “Daddy loves you, and you make every moment worthwhile.”

The country music sensation also paid tribute to his fans, the country radio industry, and his late father, who passed away from cancer in 2015. “I wish my dad were here to see this, but I know he’s watching over me tonight,” he shared. “I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity to do what I love.”
Urban triumphed over fellow nominees Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, and Kenny Chesney to claim the night’s biggest honor.
He was also a contender in two other categories: Male Vocalist of the Year—ultimately won by Chris Stapleton—and Album of the Year for Graffiti U, which went to Kacey Musgraves.
Earlier in the evening, Urban wowed the crowd with an electrifying performance of his hit song, “Never Comin’ Down.”
Kidman has long been her husband’s biggest cheerleader, frequently accompanying him to concerts, award shows, and even teaming up with him for a special duet of his empowering song “Female.”
The couple is known for their affectionate displays, especially on special occasions.
Recently, Kidman posted a cozy snapshot of them celebrating Urban’s 51st birthday, snuggled up next to a half-eaten chocolate cake.
“You’re so loved, Keith Lionel. Happy birthday, baby!” she captioned the sweet Instagram post, giving a nod to the restaurant behind “#keithsfavouritecake.”
And when Kidman celebrated her own birthday in June, Urban made it extra special by serenading her with an a cappella rendition of “Happy Birthday” during his performance at the Country USA Festival in Wisconsin.
“What an incredible surprise—my husband and the entire crowd at @officialcusa Oshkosh WI singing me Happy Birthday!!” Kidman wrote in a post featuring the touching moment.
