When The X Factor debuted in 2004, it quickly became a platform for emerging artists to make their mark. But in 2012, a 17-year-old from Louisiana did more than just make an impression—he left the judges and audience utterly speechless.

Jones is also passionate about increasing the visibility of Black artists in country music. “From the time I started singing at 14, I wanted to see more diversity in country,” he said, commending artists like Kane Brown, Lil Nas X, and Blanco Brown for breaking down barriers.
Looking ahead, Jones is focused on continuing to do what he loves—creating music, performing, and maybe even exploring fashion. “My goal is simple,” he said. “I just want to make great music. This is my life. This is my art.”
