Earlier this week, former President Donald Trump revealed that Melania Trump was deeply shaken by a recent incident—so much so that she has been unable to speak about it.
During a Monday interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Trump shared that Melania had been watching the event unfold in real-time and has since remained emotionally affected.
“She was watching it live. She really can’t even bring herself to talk about it—and that’s okay,” Trump said. “It shows how much she cares. She loves me.” He added that when he came down afterward, Melania initially feared the worst.
In related news, Ronald Rowe was recently appointed as acting director of the Secret Service, replacing Kimberly Cheatle. Cheatle stepped down following a series of tough congressional hearings in which she faced scrutiny over communication breakdowns tied to the July 13 shooting incident.
