Calls To CANCEL Donald Trump’s State Visit To UK Reach New High After ‘Historic Showdown’ At Oval Office

The meeting quickly devolved into a shouting match, filled with heated language and pointed accusations. At one point, Trump reportedly told him to leave the Oval Office, accusing him of showing disrespect toward both the American people and the nation itself.

Yet, not everyone saw the encounter the same way. Many observers perceived it differently—interpreting the moment as a rare display of bipartisan American leadership turning against Zelensky, mocking and belittling him in the process.

Some critics even accused him of recklessly pushing toward a global conflict, likening his stance to gambling with the onset of World War III. Following his contentious U.S. visit, Zelensky opted to head to the United Kingdom earlier than planned, where Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer had recently extended an invitation for Trump to make a formal visit.

Royal commentators are now suggesting that Zelensky’s timing could put the monarchy in an awkward position.

However, a source close to U.S. officials warned that withdrawing the invitation would be a serious diplomatic misstep. “King Charles has already committed to welcoming Zelensky with full honors,” the source said. “To pull back now, especially just to avoid clashing with Trump, would send the wrong message.”
