The Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of Armenia has shared updates regarding upcoming weather conditions in the country.
According to the official, a strong anticyclone that has been responsible for sunny and stable weather across Armenia is expected to weaken starting from December 26.
From the evening hours of December 27 and throughout December 28, the anticyclone is forecast to give way to a powerful cyclone. As a result, precipitation is expected in many regions, with snowfall likely in mountainous areas.
Specialists note that such atmospheric changes are typical for the season, and weather conditions may vary by region.
