


At today’s session, the Government of Armenia approved a decision to announce military training assemblies for 2026.
According to the decision, training assemblies will be conducted throughout 2026 for reservists registered in the first reserve group, including enlisted personnel, non-commissioned officers, and officers. The purpose of the assemblies is to improve military skills, provide refresher training, and enhance preparedness, as well as to strengthen combat readiness through the involvement of reserve forces.
The decision defines the timeframes, objectives, number of participants, specialties involved, and stages of mobilization. Each citizen may be involved in training assemblies for a period of no more than 25 calendar days.
During 2026, military training assemblies will be held for reservists of the first and second categories of the first reserve group on the following dates:
February 3 – April 10, 2026 (inclusive)
March 31 – June 19, 2026 (inclusive)
April 15 – July 15, 2026 (inclusive)
June 9 – August 14, 2026 (inclusive)
August 4 – October 9, 2026 (inclusive)
September 15 – December 15, 2026 (inclusive)
September 29 – November 20, 2026 (inclusive)
These training assemblies will involve reservists of enlisted, non-commissioned, and officer ranks in accordance with the established schedule.
