According to Article 2 of the Law on Holidays and Memorial Days, January 28 is officially celebrated as Army Day in Armenia. This year, the holiday falls on a Tuesday and is a non-working day.
In line with Article 147 of the Labor Code, the working day preceding a non-working holiday or memorial day is shortened by one hour, except for employees working under reduced or part-time schedules.
As a result, employees in Armenia may finish work one hour earlier on January 27.
