According to Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Holidays and Memorial Days,” Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8. This year, the holiday falls on a Sunday and is officially recognized as a non-working day.
In line with the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, the working day preceding a public holiday is reduced by one hour. This regulation does not apply to employees working under shortened or part-time schedules.
As a result, employees working a full-time schedule will be able to finish work one hour earlier on March 7.
