Levon Azizyan, Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, wrote on his social media page that strong winds are expected on February 26 between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM in Yerevan and in certain areas of the Ararat, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Shirak, Gegharkunik, and Syunik regions.
Wind speeds in some locations may reach 18–23 meters per second.
Residents are advised to avoid staying near trees, power lines, and loosely secured structures during this period. It is also recommended not to park vehicles under trees or advertising boards to reduce the risk of damage.
