A 40-year-old woman has died during childbirth at the Armenia Medical Center, according to information provided by the Ministry of Health to local media.
Officials reported that the patient’s condition suddenly deteriorated during labor, accompanied by a loss of consciousness. The medical team immediately carried out all necessary emergency procedures, including an urgent cesarean section.
Following the intervention, efforts were made to transfer the patient to a third-level intensive care unit with the involvement of both the medical team and the Ministry of Health. Despite all attempts to save her life, the woman could not be revived.
The newborn’s condition is currently described as serious but stable, and doctors continue to provide intensive medical care.
