Heavy rainfall is forecast for March 27–28 in several regions of Armenia, including Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Lori, and Tavush, according to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.
Authorities warn that water levels are expected to rise in a number of rivers, including Voghji, Gorisget, Meghriget, Arpa, Debed, and Aghstev.
Residents are urged to remain highly cautious and avoid areas at risk of flooding. In case of emergency, individuals are advised to contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ operational management center by dialing 112.
Officials emphasize the importance of staying informed and following safety guidelines during this period of increased weather-related risks.
