The Electric Networks of Armenia has announced scheduled power outages on April 1 due to planned maintenance works across several districts of Yerevan and multiple regions.
Yerevan
Electricity supply will be temporarily interrupted in the Kentron, Arabkir, Kanaker-Zeytun, Davtashen, and Malatia-Sebastia districts.
In Kentron, outages will take place from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, affecting buildings and businesses on Deghatan Street, Nalbandyan Street, Surenyants Street, and Tigran Mets Avenue, including banks and the Erebuni Hotel.
In Arabkir, power will be cut from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in parts of Tsarav Aghbyur, Fanarjyan, Sarkavag, and Maro Margaryan streets.
In Kanaker-Zeytun, outages will occur during the same hours on Rubinyants and Gertsen streets.
In Davtashen, electricity will be unavailable from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in several buildings of the 1st district.
In Malatia-Sebastia, the outage will affect the “Akori” restaurant area during the same time period.
Regions
Planned outages are also scheduled in several regions:
Ararat region: interruptions in multiple villages and in Vedi city at different times throughout the day
Lori region: outage in Negots village from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Shirak region: power cut in Gyumri (Kurghinyan Street and nearby areas) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The company stated that these outages are necessary for maintenance and system improvements.
Residents are advised to follow electrical safety guidelines during the outage period. The Electric Networks of Armenia apologized for the inconvenience and thanked consumers for their understanding.
