A tragic incident occurred on April 2 in Armenia’s Armavir region, at military training grounds known locally as “polygons” within the Baghramyan enlarged community.
According to reports, an explosion took place at the site, resulting in the death of a 29-year-old serviceman. Another serviceman, aged 39, sustained injuries and was transported to a military hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, officers from the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense arrived at the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee. Authorities are currently working to determine the identities of those involved and clarify the full circumstances of the incident.
