Armenian entrepreneurs have reported an unexpected suspension of sales on the Wildberries marketplace, raising concerns among small business owners.
Individual entrepreneur Shushan Mkrtchyan told ArmeniaSputnik that sales were stopped within a few hours without any clear explanation. According to her, sellers began discussing the issue in a Telegram group that includes around 2,500 предпринимателей, and by the evening, products from Armenian individual entrepreneurs and companies were no longer available on the platform.
She emphasized that for many small businesses, the marketplace was not only a sales channel but also a key tool for maintaining cash flow and increasing brand visibility across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) markets.
At this time, relevant authorities in Armenia have not issued an official statement or confirmed the situation.
Business owners are calling for attention to the issue, highlighting the importance of supporting small enterprises during periods of uncertainty.
