Wildberries Explains Suspension of Armenian Sellers’ Products

Wildberries has issued an official statement regarding the suspension of sales for products from Armenian businesses.

The company explained that the situation is linked to additional customs control procedures applied to certain categories of goods within the Russian Federation. These measures are part of updated customs clearance requirements that came into effect on April 20.

According to the statement, Wildberries is in ongoing communication with partners and relevant authorities, closely monitoring developments. A meeting with Armenian sellers has already been held, involving more than 50 entrepreneurs. During the discussion, company representatives addressed concerns, gathered feedback, and began working on possible solutions.

To comply with the new regulations, sellers have been asked to provide additional documentation under the updated procedures. At the same time, products already stored in warehouses in Russia continue to be sold as usual, while sellers still have the opportunity to operate within the Armenian domestic market.

The company noted that all issues are being addressed through established channels with the participation of the relevant parties and expressed hope for a gradual resolution. Updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
