Under Armenia’s law “On Holidays and Memorial Days,” May 9 is observed as Victory and Peace Day and is an official non-working day in Armenia.
According to Article 147 of the Labor Code, the working day preceding a public holiday is reduced by one hour, except for employees working under reduced or part-time schedules.
As a result, employees working full-time will finish work one hour earlier on May 8.
