
Zhanna Andreasyan addressed the National Assembly of Armenia regarding the upcoming election campaign period and the role of educational institutions.
The minister emphasized that, as the country enters an active phase of political campaigning, employees of educational institutions must strictly follow legal requirements. According to her, any violations will receive an official response, and the law will be enforced fully.
At the same time, Andreasyan noted that every citizen has the right to hold and express personal political views. However, she stressed that schools and other educational institutions must not become political platforms.
She added that any reports of violations will be reviewed by the relevant authorities in accordance with the law. Possible consequences for violations may include disciplinary measures, dismissal from work, or even loss of the right to engage in teaching activities.
