Otolaryngologist Vladimir Zaitsev has warned that persistent ringing or noise in the ears may sometimes indicate underlying health issues.
In an interview cited by News.ru, the specialist explained that symptoms such as buzzing or ringing in the ears can be linked to changes in blood pressure. According to him, high blood pressure may cause intense ringing due to narrowed blood vessels, while low blood pressure is more often associated with a humming sensation.
The doctor also noted that stress, emotional tension, fatigue, and overwork may contribute to ear noise symptoms.
Additionally, he stated that certain neurological conditions, including brain-related illnesses, can sometimes be associated with ringing in the ears. Because of this, individuals experiencing frequent or worsening symptoms are advised to seek medical evaluation to determine the cause.
Experts emphasize that while ear ringing is often linked to temporary or manageable conditions, persistent symptoms should not be ignored.
