According to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of Armenia, unstable weather conditions are expected in Armenia over the coming days.
In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are forecast on May 7–8, during the daytime of May 9, and on the evening of May 11. Wind gusts during thunderstorms may reach 16–19 m/s. Dry weather is expected on May 10.
Across the country, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected from May 7 to 9, as well as during daytime hours on May 10 and 11. Some regions may also experience hail. In mountainous areas, precipitation during the night and morning hours of May 7–8 may fall as wet snow or mixed rain and snow.
Winds will be southwesterly at 2–5 m/s, with gusts increasing to 16–20 m/s during thunderstorms.
Air temperatures are expected to gradually rise by 5–7°C between May 9 and 11.
