The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia has announced that a fake message is being circulated to public schools from an email address not connected to the ministry.
According to the statement, the message was sent under the name of Tamara Sargsyan, head of the ministry’s General Education Department, but officials emphasized that the email is false and has no connection to the ministry.
The ministry urged school principals not to treat the message as an official communication and to rely only on information received through official ministry sources and platforms.
Officials also stated that the ministry will continue efforts to identify and address cases of misinformation and manipulative activity.
