The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia has presented the enrollment process for first-grade students for the 2026–2027 academic year.
In public schools where there is more than one school in the same community, enrollment will once again be carried out through the online platform hayt.emis.am
.
The main registration process will begin on June 9 and will take place in three stages.
Before registration, parents are advised to verify their child’s personal data through the stugum.emis.am
platform, which became available from May 10. This step is intended to help avoid data-related issues during enrollment.
The electronic enrollment system is operated by the National Center for Educational Technologies through the platforms hayt.emis.am and haytru.emis.am.
Priority enrollment applies in cases where:
the child’s sibling already studies at the same school,
one of the child’s parents works at the school,
or a parent is a public sector employee temporarily relocated to another community for work-related reasons.
Additional provisions are also available for children from socially vulnerable families, children under guardianship, children with disabilities, or children whose parents have disabilities. In such cases, parents must apply directly to the ministry with supporting documents.
