The Rescue Service of Armenia has announced that an emergency preparedness exercise will take place on May 12 in the village of Acharkut within the Ijevan community of Tavush Province.
The drill, scheduled between 10:00 and 15:00, will focus on organizing public warning, sheltering, and evacuation procedures in the event of an “air alert” signal.
As part of the exercise, an electric siren will be activated at 12:00 local time.
Residents are asked not to panic, as the siren is part of a planned training exercise.
