A new charter flight carrying citizens deported from Germany has arrived in Armenia, according to information reported by Sputnik Armenia.
According to the report, the flight took place approximately two weeks ago. The aircraft reportedly carried not only Armenian citizens but also citizens of Georgia, making stops in both Yerevan and Tbilisi.
The report further states that this was the fourth deportation flight from Germany to Armenia in 2026. Two such flights were conducted in February, while another took place in early May.
In addition, a separate deportation flight from the United States to Armenia was reportedly carried out earlier in May.
Deportation flights are generally organized for individuals who have received final removal orders after the completion of immigration or asylum procedures in the respective countries. Authorities have not disclosed the exact number of passengers transported on the latest flight.
