
A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was recorded in Armenia on July 2 at 7:05 p.m. local time, according to the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located approximately 14 kilometers north of Ijevan, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The intensity in the epicentral area reached 3 points on the local intensity scale.
The tremor was felt with an intensity of 2–3 points in Ijevan and the nearby villages of Achajur, Khashtarak, and Sevkar in Tavush Province.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
