Artashes Aleksanyan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, passed away in the early hours of July 6.
The news of his death was confirmed to Armenpress by his friend, Harutyun Bogaryan.
«He had been hospitalized for the past three days. This morning, at 3:55 a.m., his heart stopped,» Bogaryan said.
Aleksanyan was a respected figure in Armenia’s cultural community, remembered for his longstanding contributions to the performing arts.
