Electric Networks of Armenia has informed customers that a technical failure early today caused a temporary power outage affecting parts of Yerevan’s Nor Nork district.
According to the company, at approximately 6:10 a.m., a 10 kV sectional circuit breaker at the «Marash» 220/100/10 kV substation, operated by the High-Voltage Electric Networks company, was damaged. As a result, a number of customers in the 7th, 8th, and 9th residential districts of Nor Nork lost electricity.
Specialists from the High-Voltage Electric Networks are currently carrying out emergency repair work to restore power service as quickly as possible.
The utility company said restoration efforts are underway and that electricity supply is expected to be resumed for affected customers once the repairs have been completed.
