Armenian actress Susan Papyan, known for her roles in several television series broadcast by Shant TV, was injured in a traffic accident while returning from Dilijan to Yerevan, according to local media reports.
The accident occurred on the 9th kilometer of the Yerevan–Sevan–Ijevan highway. Preliminary reports indicate that a Nissan Tiida, driven by a 30-year-old man, left the roadway and collided with the reinforced concrete barriers of a bridge.
Susan Papyan sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to the Kanaker-Zeytun Medical Center for treatment. Information about the severity of her condition has not yet been officially released.
A criminal investigation has been launched by the Abovyan Investigative Department to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
