Yerevan may experience brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas during the evening of July 24, according to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center. From July 25 through July 29, dry weather is expected to prevail across the capital.
Forecasters also warn that evening winds in Yerevan are expected to strengthen to 14–17 meters per second between July 24 and July 29.
Across Armenia, isolated regions may see short-lived rain and thunderstorms during the daytime on July 24, with hail also possible in some locations. No precipitation is currently forecast from July 25 to July 29.
Winds are expected to be southwesterly at 2–5 m/s, although gusts may reach 16–20 m/s during thunderstorms.
Additional strong evening winds of 15–18 m/s are forecast from July 24 to July 29 in Armavir Province, the foothill areas of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and parts of Shirak Province.
Meteorologists also expect daytime temperatures to gradually rise by 2–4°C on July 25–26, bringing warmer conditions across much of the country.
