A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was recorded on July 25 at 5:16 p.m. local time (1:16 p.m. GMT), according to the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located 7 kilometers northwest of Dmanisi, Georgia, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The intensity of the shaking at the epicenter reached 4 on the seismic intensity scale.
The tremor was also felt in several communities in northern Armenia. Residents of Sizavet, Bavra, Saragyugh, and Ashotsk in Shirak Province, as well as Tashir, Paghaghbyur, Metsavan, and Sarchapet in Lori Province, reported shaking with an estimated intensity of 2–3.
No immediate reports of injuries or damage were issued following the earthquake. Authorities continue to monitor seismic activity in the region.
