
Police in Yerevan are investigating the reported robbery of an Idram LLC cash-in-transit employee during a cash collection operation.
According to information published by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the incident occurred in the Southwestern District on Andranik Street. Investigators responded to the scene after receiving operational information about the alleged robbery.
The cash-in-transit driver reportedly told police that an unidentified individual wearing a helmet opened the rear door of a Skoda cash-in-transit vehicle and took a bag containing 34 bundles of cash.
The suspect allegedly fled on foot. The driver attempted to pursue the individual but was unable to catch them. During the escape, 12 bundles of cash reportedly fell from the bag and were recovered.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet released official information regarding the total amount of money involved or announced any arrests.
