The Akhuryan Community Council, chaired by Community Head Zaven Manukyan, has approved a series of decisions during an extraordinary council meeting aimed at supporting local development and expanding access to education.
A total of 17 agenda items were presented to council members, and all were approved.
Among the most significant decisions were:
Approval and submission of the community’s 2027 subvention project proposals.
Introduction of fully free preschool education in all 22 public kindergartens operating within the Akhuryan community.
Under the newly adopted decision, Akhuryan Municipality will fully cover the cost of preschool education, meaning that parents will no longer be required to pay tuition fees for their children’s attendance at any of the community’s 22 preschool institutions.
According to the community administration, the adopted measures are intended to promote local development, strengthen social support for residents, and improve access to early childhood education.
