
Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has released details regarding a fatal incident that took place on May 21 on the Sevan–Tsapatagh road near the village of Tsovagyugh.
According to the ministry, an emergency call was received at around 10:40 p.m. reporting that a woman had died following a road incident in the area.
Investigators later determined that a 21-year-old man from Yerevan was driving a Mercedes vehicle toward Sevan with his wife, identified as Marianna B., when an argument reportedly broke out between them over domestic issues.
Police stated that during the dispute, the woman fell out of the moving vehicle and died.
The 21-year-old driver was detained and transferred to the investigative authorities along with the collected materials.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
