A Mercedes-Benz minibus overturned on the Kapan-Goris highway on the evening of September 20, leaving several people injured.
According to Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 112 Operational Management Center received a report about the traffic accident at 9:59 PM.
Rescue Service crews and police operational teams were dispatched to the scene. It was established that a Mercedes-Benz minibus had overturned on a winding section of the highway.
The driver and all passengers were taken to a regional medical center for the necessary examinations. According to the preliminary assessment, their condition is satisfactory.
Journalist Gagik Shamshyan reported that 11 people were taken to Goris Medical Center with injuries and that most of them are minors.
Further details regarding the circumstances of the accident were not immediately available.
