Snoop Dogg opened up about a moment of deep connection with Michael Bublé that left the legendary rapper “almost in tears.” The encounter occurred backstage at a charity gala earlier this year, where the two stars bonded over an intimate and heartfelt conversation about family. One of Bublé’s kids can’t get enough of one of Snoop’s songs. In a world of fame and music, moments like these remind us that even the biggest stars are human, bonded by the universal experiences of love and family. As Snoop put it, “At the end of the day, we’re all just parents trying to give our kids the best life we can. Michael’s story is a reminder of how precious that is.”

Snoop Dogg has a special fondness for Michael Bublé’s 6-year-old daughter, Vida, who happens to adore his music.

Vida, the young daughter of the «Haven’t Met You Yet» singer, listens to Snoop’s «Affirmations Song» every day, a revelation that deeply touched the iconic rapper.

“That almost brought me to tears because I created those songs for my grandkids and for children worldwide, offering a piece of me that’s kid-friendly,” Snoop shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on October 22.

“We began making these tracks, creating visuals, and developing characters for kids. It caught on, and now, schools everywhere are playing it for young children,” he added.

The «Gin and Juice» artist, who became a cultural sensation during the 2024 Paris Olympics for his spirited support of Team USA, said he was blown away when Bublé shared how much his daughter enjoys his music and how it resonates with children.

“Michael Bublé came up to me on set and said, ‘Man, my daughter loves your music. She listens to it every single day,’” Snoop recalled.

“At first, I thought he was joking, but then we actually sang the song together. It was such a heartwarming moment. Knowing that the music I make for kids is connecting in the way I hoped—it really touched me.”

Bublé, who shares four children with his wife, Luisana Lopilato, has also expressed how much Vida loves Snoop’s work. He mentioned that her kindergarten teacher plays «The Affirmations Song» every morning, even creating a video for the rapper that Bublé showed him during their first meeting.

“He was so sweet. It really moved him,” Bublé said during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “He told me, ‘Mike, you’re saying those kids in Vancouver listen to Uncle Snoop every day?’ I said, ‘Yes,’ and he was so happy. He told me he created that song for his grandkids and wanted it to spread positivity. What a genuinely kind person.”

The bond between Snoop and Bublé’s family has only grown stronger.

“Sometimes he’ll call just to say hi to the kids,” Bublé shared. “It’s not even about me—it’s ‘Uncle Snoop’ calling for the little ones.”
