THE WORLD’S THINNEST WOMAN’S

Valeria Levitin, a 39-year-old woman from Monaco, has gained recognition as the world’s thinnest woman, weighing just four stone. Her frail appearance serves as a chilling reminder of the dangers associated with eating disorders. Disturbingly, Valeria has received messages from young girls expressing a desire to emulate her skeletal frame—a notion she firmly rejects. “I refuse to teach young girls how to destroy themselves,” she asserts.

Valeria’s struggle with anorexia began in her teenage years, heavily influenced by her mother’s fixation on weight control. At 16, after relocating to Chicago, she adopted an extreme diet in hopes of fitting in. Later, while pursuing a modeling career, she was persistently told she wasn’t thin enough. By the age of 24, having dropped to just six stone, she was prohibited from dancing due to the risk of severe injury.

Her condition has deteriorated to such an extent that she can no longer remember the taste of basic foods like bread. Despite her challenges, Valeria holds onto the hope of becoming a mother, which she sees as a powerful motivation to recover. She remains committed to raising awareness about anorexia and encouraging others to seek the help they need before it’s too late.
