Heather Tom, best known for her role as Katie Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, recently shared the heartbreaking news of her mother Marie’s passing. The actress took to Instagram to honor her mother’s memory, posting photos, a video, and a touching tribute.
In her heartfelt message, Heather wrote, “My brother David, sister Nicholle, and only child Michael held my mother’s hand, kissed her face, and whispered ‘I love you’ as she left us.”
Heather described her mother as her “greatest influence” and “most steadfast supporter.”
Marie, a devoted single mother, played a pivotal role in helping Heather and her family transition to life in Los Angeles. Heather reminisced about her mother’s love for Mexican food, margaritas, Elvis Presley, and her cherished toy poodles.
“Every day I will miss her,” Heather shared. “But because my son’s eyes are hers, I’ll see her there every time I look into them.”
Heather, who married musician James Achor in 2011, is a proud mom to their son, Zane Alexander Achor, born in 2012. Reflecting on motherhood, Heather said in 2020, “I’m so proud to be your mom—you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
