Temperatures across Armenia are expected to rise significantly in the coming days, with August 24 potentially becoming the hottest day of 2026.
According to Levon Azizyan, Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, the heat will be particularly intense in the country’s valley regions.
Maximum temperatures in some areas could reach +38°C to +40°C.
The forecast therefore indicates another period of intense summer heat across several regions of Armenia, with temperatures potentially reaching their highest levels of the year on August 24.
Residents are advised to take appropriate precautions during the hottest hours of the day, particularly when spending extended periods outdoors.
