A school meal program will be piloted in Yerevan, Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan has announced.
According to the minister, the program will initially be introduced in two schools in Yerevan before being gradually expanded to other educational institutions.
The authorities plan to complete the rollout of the school meal program by 2028.
Andreasyan noted that one of the initiative’s key objectives is not only to provide meals to students but also to encourage healthy eating habits among children.
