Armenia will mark two official holidays in October under the Law on Holidays and Memorial Days of the Republic of Armenia.
October 5 is Teachers’ Day, while October 10 is Translators’ Day. However, both holidays are considered working days, meaning they do not provide additional days off.
Under Armenia’s Labor Code, the duration of the working day immediately preceding a non-working holiday or memorial day is generally reduced by one hour. This rule does not apply to employees already working under reduced or part-time working arrangements.
Therefore, the two holidays observed in October do not themselves create additional non-working days.
