Rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and a significant drop in temperatures are forecast across Armenia in the coming days, with heavy rainfall expected in some areas.
Weather in Yerevan
From October 1 through October 4, Yerevan is expected to experience intermittent short-term rain and thunderstorms.
During thunderstorms, wind gusts could reach 17–20 meters per second.
On September 30, short-term rain and thunderstorms are also possible in some parts of the capital.
Weather Across Armenia
During the night and afternoon of September 30, rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions.
From October 1 through October 4, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are forecast across a significant part of the country. Hail is also possible, while rainfall could become heavy in some areas.
Northwesterly winds will reach 2–5 meters per second, strengthening to 20–23 meters per second during thunderstorms.
Daytime temperatures are expected to drop by 4–7°C on September 30, followed by an additional 3–5°C decrease from October 1 to 4.
