Sister of Armenian Man Who Died in Kemerovo Shares New Details About the Tragedy

New details have emerged following the tragic death of Tatul Petrosyan, an Armenian man in Kemerovo, who was married to Russian blogger Milena.

Tatul’s sister, Narine, has spoken publicly about the circumstances surrounding her brother’s death and made serious allegations concerning what happened shortly before the tragedy.

According to Narine, she no longer considers Milena part of her family except as the mother of her nephews and says she intends to address the matter in court.

She alleged that while her brother was dying, Milena was smoking hookah with a friend and did not immediately call an ambulance. Narine also claimed that another person was contacted instead and promised that she would later reveal what she describes as the full circumstances surrounding her brother’s death.

Narine additionally said she had received messages she considered threatening. She noted that she has a legal education and previously worked in the court system for nine years, adding that she intends to defend her brother’s memory.

The claims made by Tatul Petrosyan’s sister represent her account of events and have not been independently verified. No official findings establishing responsibility for the circumstances described in her statement have been provided in the information currently available.
