Victor Newman from «The Young and the Restless,» portrayed by the esteemed German actor Eric Braeden, recently shared a candid video detailing his battle with cancer. At 82 years old, Braeden disclosed in his heartfelt message that he is undergoing immunotherapy following his diagnosis.

Braeden received the unexpected diagnosis during a routine checkup after experiencing prostate issues while recovering from knee surgery. In a Facebook Live session, he revealed the presence of “high-grade” cancer cells near his bladder.

Despite his health challenges, Braeden will continue his role in the long-running series. Expressing his dedication to acting, he said, “I’m happy to be able to go to work…” and conveyed his determination to overcome his illness. He added, “It won’t be long till I’m back to my best.”
