Rod Stewart had a proud dad moment during a recent concert in Nashville when his youngest son, Aiden, stole the show. The seven-year-old charmed the crowd as he danced alongside his famous father, showing off his flossing skills before breaking into some spontaneous breakdancing, much to the delight of the audience.
Aiden’s mother, Penny Lancaster, captured the adorable performance and posted it to Instagram, captioning the video: “Flossing in Nashville @sirrodstewart.” Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for the youngster, with one writing, “This just made my day,” and another adding, “That was so cute!” A third admirer chimed in, “He’s got some serious rhythm!”
Aiden is the youngest of Rod Stewart’s eight children. He and Penny share two sons — Aiden and 12-year-old Alastair. Rod also has children from previous relationships: daughter Sarah Streeter, born in 1964; Kimberley (1979), Sean (1980), and Ruby (1987) with Alana Stewart and Kelly Emberg; and Renee (1992) and Liam (1994) with model Rachel Hunter.
Despite the size of their blended family, Penny has spoken warmly about her relationship with Rod’s other children. In a candid interview with The Sunday People, she even joked that Rod himself can be the most high-maintenance of them all. “Rod’s like my third child — definitely my most demanding one,” she said. “When he’s touring and returns from the buzz of performing for thousands of fans, he comes home to just being Dad again. It’s a big adjustment, and he needs a lot of attention.”
