Water Supply Interruptions Announced in Armavir and Kotayk Regions

Veolia Water has announced emergency and planned water supply interruptions affecting several communities in Armenia’s Armavir and Kotayk regions.

An emergency shutdown in Armavir region began on May 22 at 4:50 p.m. and is expected to continue until 10:00 a.m. on May 23. The interruption affects the city of Metsamor and Mashtots Street in the village of Aknalich.

The company also announced a planned water shutdown in Kotayk region due to maintenance work. Water supply will be suspended from 10:00 a.m. on May 26 until 10:00 a.m. on May 27.

The planned interruption will affect the cities of Abovyan and Charentsavan, the Verin Aghbyurak district of Hrazdan, as well as the villages of Bjni, Solak, Teghenik, Qarashamb, Argel, Zoravan, Karenis, Nor Gyugh, Qaghsi, and parts of Arzni and Aramus.

Veolia Water apologized to customers for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their understanding.
