The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has reminded travelers that all visa holders are required to use their visas in compliance with U.S. immigration rules.
In an official statement, the embassy warned that remaining in the United States longer than the authorized period may result in a permanent ban on future entry into the country.
The embassy also noted that consular officers have access to entry and exit records and are able to identify immigration violations.
Officials urged travelers to carefully follow the terms of their visas in order to avoid future legal or travel restrictions.
