Armenia’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center has warned that increased river flow levels are expected across most rivers in the country on May 27–28.
According to the agency, significantly higher water discharge is forecast in the basins of Lake Sevan, as well as the Arpa, Vorotan, Hrazdan, Azat, and Vedi rivers.
Specialists say the increase is linked to high temperatures and accelerated snowmelt, which may lead to unfavorable hydrological conditions in some areas.
Residents living near rivers and vulnerable zones are advised to follow official updates and exercise caution.
