Weather forecasters predict unstable conditions across Armenia in the coming days, with rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and a noticeable drop in temperatures.
In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected on the afternoon of May 29, throughout May 30, during the night of May 31, and in the afternoons of June 1, 2, and 3. Wind gusts may reach 17–20 meters per second during thunderstorms.
Dry weather is expected on the daytime of May 31 and during the nights of June 1, 2, and 3.
Across Armenia, short-term rain and thunderstorms are forecast in most regions on May 30, while scattered showers and storms are expected in some areas on May 31, June 1, June 2, and June 3. Hail is also possible in certain locations.
Meteorologists note that rainfall on the afternoon of May 29 and throughout May 30 may be heavy in some areas.
Northwestern winds are expected at 2–5 meters per second, with gusts increasing to 17–20 meters per second during thunderstorms.
Forecasters also report that air temperatures will gradually decrease by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius on May 30.
