Off the coast of Florida, diver John Moore, 55, saw a large bull shark.
The corresponding photo of the male predator was published on his Instagram page. Various sharks swam next to John Moore, but the man drew attention to the bull shark.
In his opinion, the predator could be pregnant. The man made such conclusions because of her behavior. “Most likely pregnant and definitely did not miss any meal.
She was a very dominant shark, confidently swam up to me during the dive,” added John. Bull sharks are quite lazy and swim slowly. The diet consists mainly of large invertebrates, small sharks, other fish and dolphins. In addition, any emissions are devoured along with live prey. At birth, they are about 60 centimeters. In adulthood, the length is 1.5 – 2.5 meters.
Pregnancy lasts 10 to 11 months, after which the female gives birth to 3 to 13 fry. Males are aggressive towards any potential rivals, which sometimes even humans can be considered. Their testosterone levels are higher than in any other vertebrate, which partly explains the aggressiveness.
